Opening remarks will be given by Dr Luke Gartlan, Head of the School of Art History, and Francesca Bisi, co-convenor.
0930 – WORKSHOP 1: BEYOND THE THESIS [Old Union Diner]
Four short workshops on:
- Organising your Research
- Applying for Funding
- Finding Work-Life Balance
- Skills for Conferences
1030 – COFFEE BREAK [Old Union Diner]
Tea and coffee will be provided, along with milk and dairy alternatives. During this break we will move to The Stewart Room, Younger Hall.
1100 – WORKSHOP 2: PITCHING YOUR RESEARCH [The Stewart Room, Younger Hall]
A one hour workshop on introducing your research to wide audiences, and developing your elevator pitch, with time to practice!
1200 – LUNCH [The Stewart Room, Younger Hall]
Buffet style lunch will be served, accommodating dietary requirements given on the registration form.

A wine reception with non-alcoholic options and pizza dinner will be provided in the Barns-Graham and Saunders Rooms, in the School of Art History. All are welcome.
